In 2018, gamers, metaverse enthusiasts and visionaries globally watched the sci-fi fantasy movie, “READY PLAYER ONE”. It was a movie cast into the not-too-distant future of 2045 where people lived in a dystopian and chaotic world. Their only escape from reality was to enter the “OASIS” — a whole virtual metaverse and a Virtual Reality (VR) video game that everyone in the world escapes into.
They entered the “OASIS” because of all the things they can do and they stayed in it because of all that they could be. In a world that was increasingly disengaging, gamers and participants in “OASIS” found a place, albeit virtual, that gave them meaning.
Fortunately, the team at FantaVerse are not only inspired by the movie but it is determined to bring such an “OASIS” i.e. the FantaVerse Metaverse into being.

Creating a successful “OASIS”-like metaverse is not an easy job.
It requires the building of a solid infrastructure, from first principles, to meet the massive concurrence of real-time speed, heavy gaming data computation, stable high definition graphics whilst ensuring that anyone with a decently updated mobile phone can participate.
In fact, the FantaVerse development team has been building the FantaVerse metaverse for any mobile phone that can support a stable stream of video in High Definition (HD). The right balance between game play and accessibility by the masses with decentralization as a core ethos is what the team strives to #BUIDL!
